Useful list - many thanks. I was following many of these women (eg some great UK journos) but it’s always good to get suggestions that help one avoid being in a bubble (in this case helping avoid a male bubble)…! PS and love Ursula K Le Guin. One of the greats!

When I was seven I walked into a mobile library van (we didn’t have a fixed library in our area) and picked up Wizard of Earthsea. It was mind-blowing and completely charged a life of reading. What a book. Thanks for the list!
