2. What I mean by "it happens" is that there are incidents in which the IDF shot journalists, clearly knowing that they were press. The best known one, Shireen Abu Akleh, was killed 1.5 years before the war.

3. There have been many such cases during the war, and some in Lebanon, but at least in Gaza the rules of engagement are loose and the IDF appears to be shooting regardless of whether there's a press vest, rather than deliberately targeting press vests.
