3. There have been many such cases during the war, and some in Lebanon, but at least in Gaza the rules of engagement are loose and the IDF appears to be shooting regardless of whether there's a press vest, rather than deliberately targeting press vests.

4. My suspicion is that this is one reason the IDF is prohibiting the entry of foreign journalists into Gaza. There are a lot of journalists in Gaza still reporting, but they are Gazans, so if the IDF shoots them, they're Gaza Ministry of Health statistics and not international incidents.
