Okay, my eyes focused on the pictures before reading the text and I saw the neon socks and immediately said, "That's got to be a Stephen West pattern" and sure enough, reading the text confirmed it, haha. I love your socks - they turned out awesome!
okay, try number 8 at sleeping tonight. wish me luck!
I feel this post. My condolences.
OMG YOU WENT! I had a thought of going, but it was not to be. Even if I had *planned* to go, I probably would have backed out due to food disagreeing with me tonight, sigh. Glad you had fun! and @scalzi.com I'm glad you had a good turnout! I'll have to try to make it to the next signing here.
The insomnia would like to start on one, but the sensible part of me says it's much too late to go digging in my closet for the thread.
I started a tradition a few years back of giving the nieces & nephews #crochetwww.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...
This snowflake is 3-D (unlike photo).
i lie, I'm anxious and restless. so says the insomnia, sigh.
no but seriously, usually when my chair has superglue, it's because I am anxious about something. I don't REALLY feel anxious tonight, but there might be some background anxiety I'm not aware of... something to ponder on. TOMORROW. Right now, I *will* go to bed. goodnight Bsky!
While I do understand that a good many folks are well-meaning in their advice, a lot of times advice is NOT wanted and can actually be detrimental to someone's mental health. So practice ASKING if advice is wanted! It will make your relationships healthier.
My friends and I have a habit of asking each other, "are you just venting, or do you want/need advice?" It's amazing how much that simple question helps. I'm getting better at outright saying "I'm just venting here, no advice needed" when I post things. The thing is, people need to RESPECT THAT.
