Oh yeah this is uh extremely true in my experience as a chronic cisman dater, men generally don’t want funny women they want women with “a sense of humor” who “doesn’t take themselves too seriously”

Which is a real big red flag that what they want is to be able to say horrible shit to or about you while you just giggle & pretend it's okay.

Not to brag, but I am a semi professional comedian. I’ve written sketch for some of the coolest comedy theatres in LA. So imagine my shock when the poli sci professor I was dating said, very magnanimously, “you know, you might actually be funnier than me.”

Exactly this! It’s my experience too. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

On the other hand, if he really laughs at your jokes and you get a good back and forth going… ❤️
