Yesterday was #WorldCarFreeDay so I went to check out a new cycle lane - all 300m of it... Yes, you read that correctly, 300m! One day I hope my local area will have a proper network of routes instead of the current very fragmented and occasional shared path.

I am very lucky in that only about 3 miles of my 10 mile commute is on the road and includes some decent birding habitat almost all the way to the centre of Sheffield. Sometimes I don't know how I make it to work 😉

Is that the bit near Cams? 300m, sometimes it’s so ridiculous it hurts 😖
