I'm obsessesed with fermentation of all kinds, I just love the idea of putting microbes to work to make my food better. Sourdough has a special place in my heart because you develop the culture yourself instead of buying it which I think is just wonderful.

I'm in the process of getting kicked out of my flat so now is a bad time to rekindle my desire to ferment stuff lol, need to hold myself back until I've found a new place

Yes me too! I got really obsessed a few years back and made all the ferments. These days I still make sauerkraut and kimchi regularly, but since my 3 attempts of soy sauce have failed (bad mould) I've not tried it since :)
