playing "good luck babe" at straight weddings: lack of media literacy, heteropessimism/heteronihilism, or both?
I always hear "Whip It" at wedding receptions. The song's sarcastically talking about self-help books, but go off I guess.
i think it’s just a jam. does that fall under heteronihilism?
I wish YouTube had this, but... Back in like the nineties, the TV show Viva Variety had its two hosts -- M. Laupin, and the former Mme. Laupin -- singing a very romantic song about the day of their divorce. "There is a place for us together..." "AND IT'S APART!"
varies on proximity to "blurred lines"

The band at my cousin's wedding had some interesting choices, I remember thinking to myself "it would be funny if they played 'Poison' by Bel Big Devoe" about five songs before they played "Poison" by Bel Biv DeVoe. I hope they will incorporate "Good Luck Babe" into their repertoire
