There was one big artist that made an entire thread in twitter talking about how erotic art "isn't art" because it's "instinct and not spiritual" and other bs. Got me pretty angry, because art is about all human feelings and expression and demonizing eroticism is such a shallow worldview.

Draw more things you love to work with, even when it’s unpopular. Catering too much on other people and popular trends you lose lot of time and energy you could use on stuff for you and your ideas. Dare to be selfish with your art. It is yours after all.
When creating personal art, ask yourself if what you're drawing is truly for yourself or is it something you *think* others *expect* from you. When in doubt pivot back into drawing for yourself, others will sense the joy it brings you.
