All of these are reasons why air dropping is not the best or preferred way of delivering aid, not arguments that it’s worse than doing nothing.

The reason it's worse than doing nothing is because it gives the United States government a reason for not doing something that ACTUALLY helps. They can just point to these airdrops and go "see? We're helping!" when in reality they're doing the square root of fuck-all to make things better.
