Meteorologist Tim Buckley, WFMY in Greensboro, NC: "Two 20"+ rainfall events in the same state just two weeks apart. The fact that we've seen that in North Carolina is mind boggling. Certainly a concern going forward as heavy rain events become more common in a warmer climate."
