I didn't even know there was a term for the kind of damage that comes with abuse and stress, words to describe the pain of having a heart full of broken glass.

I’ve been through something similar and… it’s one of the worst experiences in my life, and it has good contenders. The self doubt. The loss of entire social circles… I’m so, so sorry this happened to you. I’m so, so sorry it happens to Black transfemmes. I’m sorry ❤️

Share this, because even if you don’t need this story, there are others who do. The number of other Black transfemmes I’ve met at this point who went through similar, who told me that *this was their story too*, is too fucking many. We can’t let fear stop us from speaking.
