Some people do but not all. Saving in PNG is the way to go. But big big big files.

Lightroom mobile is JPEG. You can end up with banding. And that's not what you want. Me at least.

Start with the in game build-in photo mode if available. And, depending the implementation, you can have quite a lot of features. Then, if you are not happy with what you have, you can go with LightRoom by example.
