One of the most useful concepts I’ve ever internalized is the mindset of seeing most concepts as imperfect but, “convenient ways of talking about…” something else. Esp in english, we’re conditioned to treat words as absolute references and not abstractions. It’s damaging.

I bought tickets to see Rx Bandits in March and I am already buzzing about it. Easily one of my favorite bands to see live, and I haven't seen them since 2011.
I am so fucking torn on The Substance. The trailer makes it look completely fucking brilliant, but I have such a _low_ tolerance for body horror and I am not sure I would survive it.
