IMO I can point to the EXACT moment MCU and "marvelization" really started which was with Guardians 1, a VERY good film. Loved it but damn after that moment EVERY movie wanted to be Guardians, that quippy dialogue, look, feel basically fortnite of movies, everyone else chasing the trend for money

What's really interesting about Guardians (to me anyway) is that James Gunn has cited "Farscape" as one of his biggest inspirations for his approach to it. Even went and cast one of the series leads in Vol 2 as a nod to it. I've always been intrigued for that reason alone.

I will say this... the Guardians trillogy is a really good one to watch all the way through, mainly because the director really wanted to make a story focusing more or less on one character (Rocket) and it does pay off. As for Deadpool and Wolverine, I'd recommend it for a few reasons I won't spoil
