i don't think i've used my desktop for anything other than playing a couple games at this point. it's scary nearly having the performance of my giant power-hungry desktop in a thin-and-light that sips current. (can you tell i haven't had a modern laptop for a long time?)
if you don't like the little crumb bits you get when you're finishing off a box of cereal, just throw it all into a sieve, that alone is usually very effective at getting the majority of them out
I miss running setup.exe off of install media from a box and seeing the 256 color based blue gradient InstallShield installer
framework arrived today (13", 7640u). after using it for a few hours i genuinely think i don't need my desktop computer for anything anymore bar graphically and computationally expensive games perhaps i was just using really old/underpowered laptops before? this laptop is incredible
need motivation to just nuke my failing 20tb storage array instead of trying to save all of it (i barely look through 99% of it but some of this data is as old as me)
automatic ripping machine is amazing for this. if you haven't heard of it before, literally just pop a disc in, wait for it to eject, repeat good luck!
yeah, i feel like i got really unlucky with it tbh, total parts cost probably came to twice the value of the laptop itself :(
i discussed this with some ppl earlier, and a couple said i made a mistake, saying i should've bought a ms surface instead for its build quality & windows integration. idk about you but i want to be able to perform repairs on my laptop if needed i predominantly use some flavour of linux too soooo
