My 1st Amtrak experience was a revelation. Big reclining seats! Tons of overhead storage! The conductors were so nice! We asked if they needed to see ID before boarding, & they said, “nah, you have kids with you, you probably won’t bomb anything.” 😂

I just had this thought as my adult kid and I sat down to fill out our ballots. It was so cozy, we discussed pros and cons of an amendment, looked up info on a referendum, and I took care not to look at their marks. Then I thought, “ohhhhhh, this could be so bad in a different household.”

I’ve honestly been lucky with flu and covid shots, very little reaction other than muscle soreness. Now, the shingles vaccine? Kicked my ASS. I’m going to have to schedule the 2nd dose of that fucker strategically.
