'theory and practical'! Excellent. I tried to learn around the same age, and couldn't get past my mum screaming and grabbing the wheel and somewhere along the line I decided I was incompetent and beyond hope. But now I am finding it is actually a lot of fun to learn a new and terrifying thing.

I think it is actually not possible to ever be not behind and the only thing is to be at peace with it. Or, approaching peace. I am also speaking to the pile of manuscripts I am supposed to be reading right now :D
