What *is* stopping you from getting transport to the nearest city, staying a couple days for the surgery, and going home?

There's a list. - getting to a city that will have appointments is a multi-day process - most free dental clinics won't be available to outsiders, since they're community focused - for the first few days after surgery I will be extra prone to infection and also extra exhausted. There's more...
