Still looking for housing. Time is tight. 8 days till I'm screwed. I really need something, fast.

Getting me to it? My math says about 400. Actually being able to chase it down?... I don't know. That involves a hotel stay and depends on how fast the people on the other side are. To actually take advantage of it? Out of my control entirely.

So they're the preference, but as long as I can get there I'm in no position to say no to anything.

That said, I am kind of desperate. Right now anywhere in a city (very loosely speaking, this could also be a sufficiently urbanized college town) that will have free dentistry somewhere in it is basically it. Distances involve transit funds and Chicago and Madison are my golden places right now...

Before I wound up here on the UP it was more about reducing risk, and I thought it realistic I could find something before dental care became necessary. I was wrong, I've learned my lesson, should have done it. Now it's about having a chance of survival instead of absolutely certain death.
