About a year ago, we also decided that we'd continue to mask in any store. No sickness in 4 years is very convincing.

I'm at an astrophysics conference now and you'd hope we'd know to mask better but nooope. Better than the airport at least but it's still only maybe a dozen out of the couple hundred here.

Well, neurodivergent folk have already been masking in public spaces since forever. Also people are hella unsanitary, so it makes sense, even if self-protection is a secondary effect of using a mask.
