James Baldwin wrote the best reason for studying the humanities that I know of. I use it in my classes and it applies as readily to taking English lit as it does to studying History.

I see screenshots here of Musk’s problematic takes over on X. I would respectfully suggest that since X derives revenue from ads, having an account there is supporting the platform; he can show potential advertisers how many subscribers he has. If you don’t like what he’s doing, cancel your account.
