in my view, searching for a biological or genetic root to autism can only serve pathologization and curative violence, particularly in this world that is so thoroughly structured by neuronormativity.
it will be interesting to read. i’ve always operated under the assumption that we should resist the geneticization of autism. autism is a queer way of being, not a biological entity.
That antirelationality isn’t limited to people. I can’t safely interact or relate to anything, even space and time themselves. Erotic relationality can be an intervention in this imposed way of being.
I feel the same way. My BPD enacts a brutal antirelationality, even among nonnormative people. This is why my chapter on the erotic is theorizing erotic relationality.
I always thought it was a lay appropriation of Foucault’s discourses.
