Something you should know about the Trump McDonaldā€™s appearance is that the restaurant was closed and the food service was all rehearsed with pre-screened volunteers

Two tweets from Tom Sofield @BuxMontNews showing the rehearsal of cars in the McDonalds drive thru

As a politics person, I am aggressively anti-doom this election, but especially because people are voting! It is happening right now! We can choose to avoid all of this by turning out as many voters as possible, and not giving up!

With his aggregator, Nevin Michael got the polling closer to the final result than everyone else in 2020 and 2022. He did this by eliminating all the junk polls and the ones that were purely GOP fantasy vehicles. You might be interested in his current results. šŸ§µ

Two weeks before the election all the networks gave live airtime to election deniers to spread the new lie that the 2024 election will be rigged

Michael Gold at the NYT, to whom Iā€™ve written in the past, finally breaking the fourth wall and confirming what Iā€™ve long argued is likely happening at the Gray Ladyā€”the gentle treatment of Trump is an editorial choice. Good for Gold for trying.

A billionaire blatantly breaking election laws to get his preferred candidate into power is the sort of crime that law enforcement should address immediately, rather than giving it a chance to work first and prosecuting only if it fails.

Update: Apparently, the journalist (Gold) had included this in the original article, but the NYT Editors pulled it out. This was apparently a senior editorial decision, raising a lot more questions about what is going on at the TImes.

A letter to the journalist (Michael Gold) questioning why he hadn't included any reference to the increased vulgarity as being indicative of cognitive decline, especially given the coverage of Biden.
The journalist (Michael Gold) responds by saying "I filed something that included the thing that you mention as omitted, but I am not given the power to publish what I say." He suggests emailing senioreditor@nytimes.com
