Examples of such signs include: use of pre-Khalilian meters (or else of genre-inappropriate meters like rajaz in a serious Qaṣīdah), words that make sense in context more based on inscriptions or dialect data than on Ibn Manẓūr, and even (on one occasion at least) different gender roles.
