The sword feels very much like a “help” button for combat related puzzles to me. I am avoiding using it and enjoying the game much more on its own terms. Would have preferred it come as a (very) late game unlock rather than at the start, personally. (I’ve not finished yet…)

I think the core of the problem is that using echoes for combat takes too long Like I summon 4 bats. This doesn't = to them attacking the enemy quickly, they gotta do all the fuckin startup animations and then sometimes they miss! My fix has been to try to use the uhh X power to hold enemies clse

Maybe Link should have been an echo.
