During La Marseillaise where she looks at Victor admiringly is a top five movie moment. (Sheâs so beautiful folks donât snicker; they get quiet.)
Damn, Iâve seen local panhandling street musicians get a better crowd in DC lol
Nobody on the NYC-based SNL writing team knows how to write a Minnesotan joke. Rudolph and Samberg both did a better job in the cold open.
I love that despite the word "music" not appearing in this at all, I would know that this was a story from you. For some things, there really is only one person, lol
Yes to all of this and also ugh I hate that it's necessary. In teaching gamedev folks, I give a pre-conference reminder to everyone about how to order a club soda with a lime to look like you're drinking if you feel pressured to do so. That's "secretly" almost exclusively for my female students.
A student noted that Palmtree Panic (US) reminded them of Casiopea in a bullet journal and dang it's been a while since I've had an undergrad with such good taste in music listening -- "Mint Jams" just sounds like Sonic to most folks, and it's rare to hear the former before the latter in the USA.
The sword feels very much like a âhelpâ button for combat related puzzles to me. I am avoiding using it and enjoying the game much more on its own terms. Would have preferred it come as a (very) late game unlock rather than at the start, personally. (Iâve not finished yetâŚ)
I donât have any hesitation about it; hop to it, duck friend! :p (I will buy three copies of the memoir.)
RIP Maggie Smith. You played a lot of roles since then, but I first remember you as Nanna Wendy in âHookâ so Iâm hoping youâre off past the second star to the right now
