Maybe in terms of mechanics and graphics, but the PS2 library also included trash like The Guy Game and Backyard Wrestling. Lest we forget.
No, yeah, I'm gonna choose to forget those. You can pick bad games out of any generation, though. Even today, tons of new releases on Steam are just bloatware and AI-generated games.
