What I don't understand is how and why none of the news agencies have picked this up yet? The message doesn't get much more obvious than this.

Aaarghh! But there's a risk that Dems will have to spend so much campaign time in constant rebuttal of Trump effusions that there won't be time/space for their own pitch. Isn't that how Al Gore lost?
As usual, the media will say "Surely he doesn't mean what it sounds like ..."
People are just misinterpreting his meaning. What he's saying is that the US will return to a system of one man one vote, with Trump or his successor being the man with that vote.
