The fact that the clunk is unrelated entirely to the shutter does continue to weird me out a bit

I'm sure I'll get used to it. Film loading is weird as well, it looks like an auto wind. Along with the the focus being 'focus by wire' it looks like they are ready for a full AF auto wind model in the same body
