I think we should be talking about a viewer's strike right now. Cut off the streaming services at least, until an agreement is reached with WGA and SAG. Maybe no movies as well? What do you think?

If we join before they ask it can affect their bargaining power. There’s a strategy to it. Strikers specifically asked on various socials that organized efforts should coordinate with them. But if we decide to stop consuming individually for our own reasons it’s cool.

During strikes, you do what the striking workers say to do. They have not said to do this. So no, we should not to it.

I wonder if the same people would go more than 10 yrs without eating at Chick Fil A fir obvious reasons would be willing to boycott shows they'd otherwise enjoy because of which streamer/studio was involved in making/airing them?

A viewer's strike would likely only give studios/execs the ammunition to say, "See? Viewership is fickle and unsustainable. This is why we can't commit to higher wages."

This should apply to scab programming and should be focused so that we act in line with the union so as not to hurt them
