Members or supporters of the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas, identified by the Texas Observer and Bellingcat, appear to have perpetrated a possible hate crime at the location of a river tubing company.

The victims were part of a group of 10 friends and family who were tubing on the river to celebrate a birthday. It appeared, from a video taken by an eyewitness, that the perpetrators were neo-Nazi prison gang members.
