It speaks well of you, that you have the forgiving attitude towards human nature and fallibility

They'll have property eventually. Inheritances come around, and small families means less division. What might be different is less family formation. On some level, kids radicalize you (you worry about them), but on another level, they pull you almost entirely out of desires to tear stuff down.
I think this is why they're going to end up like us Xers. There's some similar dynamics going on
btw, I wasn't sure if that was the abbreviation for cognitive therapy, and I use duck duck go which will occasionally not be in safe mode. Please don't search CBT outside of safe mode. It doesn't seem comfortable.
