I hate whatever impulse it is to have the last word and then use the fact you're just stringing words together and hitting reply the most as some sort of signifier that you "won".

I was just about to post something like this but you said it better than I could. Sure the Dems make the (wrong) compromises on some policies to try to win some Republican support but this is too hidden and yet also too blatant. Like there's no means testing here, just pure hatred and evil.
