Not with Milton. I've had the misfortunes of Hugo & Andrew & losing a friend to Katrina to draw some inkling of what some people are going through now and the next few weeks. There will be a lot of confusion, sadness & anger that will need kindness & understanding from us all.
You might be able to get some money through FEMA or the Fed's DUA disaster-caused unemployment program since your work was flooded out. As someone that's been though a disaster, it's going to be one day at a time for a while. Don't feel bad for admitting you need help, that's a sign of strength.

While it's nothing on the order of NC or FL, just got told my father somehow cracked his hip and its gotten to the point that it needs emergency surgery. Though, it can't happen until next week because he has to have his pacemaker put in hospital mode and weaned off certain meds he takes.
I guess the main questions are 1) how is the roof & 2) was the wind driving the rain towards that opening in the façade? Hopefully its just worse on the outside than in.

Apparently Fl Gamestop DM's are telling workers to ignore evac orders, to be ready to work tomorrow and Thurs under threat of discipline. If that's true, then the company can run backwards & naked through a field of pointy sticks.
