I was initially unhappy about the 10 hour overnight flight to Buenos Aires for TEI coming up, but maybe I can convince my body to fall asleep for a while on a plane for onceā€¦

I donā€™t know what it is about the 4th year of the PhD, but all of my close friends here in the same year as me and I are just exhausted. Either bc weā€™re staying up to do work or canā€™t fall asleep. Which wasnā€™t uncommon in previous semesters but poor sleep seems more frequent this semesterā€¦šŸ™ƒ #PhDlife

Newton copied the misprint of a section numbering into his citation (92 and 93 instead of 62 and 63). So he had the edition with imprint of "Viduam Nic. de Sercy" versus the anonymous imprint! And thankfully we decided to link to the Sercy ed. a long time ago bc our scan is better! #BookHistory

And I can't put Latin under my languages! (which less terrible in the scheme of things, but like don't promote this to PhD students if they can't ancient languages down!)

Am I completely surprised by this (or at least that that is the pattern)? No. Is it complete bullshit, especially at a school with a famous school of languages and literatures? Abso-fucking-lutely
