It's interesting how geopolitics contributes to the need or lack of need for a physical drive. I live in Uruguay, where physical gaming media is twice the cost in the US, because of import taxes. I'd go broke buying only physical, and stores here don't carry indie games at all.

I live in Brazil. Discs are generally more expensive, BUT, they have resale value. There's a huge second hand market in most developing countries. So it still makes sense to buy physical media, even with the eventual discounts in digital.
