Peyton Blackwell is Safe Routes to School Program Coordinator in East Multnomah County. They founded Bike Dykes, a community cycling group designed specifically for queer women, trans individuals, & non-binary folks as a safe space for those who feel intimidated in traditional cycling environments.

Martin Chasehill works in non-profit finance and has served in other non-profit leadership roles. “I have been biking in Portland my whole life for both transportation and joy. I would love to help as many folks as possible have a similar experience!”

Melissa Kostelecky has volunteered with BikeLoud for over 2 years, as a Bike Ambassador at events, and with the Squeaky Wheel project to get people to talk about better bike infra and policy at the Portland City Council on a weekly basis. Melissa also works on BikeBus and Safe Routes to School.

Camilla Palmer is new to Portland, a daily commuter and grad student in the PSU Architecture program. Camilla says, “Young people are buying cars less than generations before them. We should expect and plan more infrastructure for electric bikes both physically and socially.”
