i miss "twitter" by that i mean, i miss twitter in like 2009 when it was novel. and every tweet was just text, and you could have a custom profile background, and they let you do cool API shit, and it wasn't loaded with ads, and you could text a phone number to tweet. they really were simpler times

and then that sheen started to gradually wear off in the mid 2010's. it wasn't good before Elon took over but now it's just. whatever the fuck it is now. idk man, it's just sad. i miss having "fun" on social media.

Those were the good Twitter days. I'd say it was pretty good until 2015 then it was getting bad, after 2016 it got worse then Space Karen bought it and it just imploded into nothing but Nazis, casual antisemitism, homophobia, and transphobia. No thanks, dumbass Musk
