The US will lose more than 30 gigawatts of solar energy during Monday’s total eclipse — roughly the output of 30 nuclear reactors — as sunlight is blocked during prime generating hours.
Unpredictable like weather forecast and climate change 🌞🫶
And…it’s how many years until the next eclipse deprives us of 4 minutes of sun? Bigger fish to fry out there, guys.
But, God created batteries, so we good.
Now is the time to blow up the moon.
Baby, night comes every day. Calm down.
oh shit the economy!
the sun goes away EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. OMG
It's hard to trust a science-y headline that confuses energy - which would be measured in watt hours or joules - with power, which is what 30 gigawatts represents. Maybe the article gets it right, but it's behind a paywall for me, so I don't know.
OMG the sun will never recover after the moon went woke like that! Quick, we're gonna have to use potatoes and distilled water for TACTICAL SURVIVALIST BATTERIES now!
Wu, eclipse - NO HANG DAI!
