Eddie & the Cruisers (and the sequel) sucked. The Philadelphia Experiment sucked. Michael Paré seemed to be one of those people who was someone’s ideal of a handsome man in the mold of far better actors and that was enough qualification to put him in movies; a blank slate—emphasis on “blank.”

I was probably watching part two of Quiet as a Nun on Mystery! instead of this. I didn’t watch it till last year despite it being infrequently on teevee in the years since and was left unimpressed but it was a very ‘80s teevee movie, trying to make something with substance and ending up cartoonish.
