Saw The Happening on a rainy night in a dollar theater with leaks in the roof and tarps and buckets on the chairs beneath them. Everyone seemed to realize early on that it was a very silly movie and it was just a hoot after that

TBH the experience was similar to when we saw Lady In The Water at a regular full price theater.

Had a similar experience watching Black Swan with a friend. First the film went off the reel like it was a cartoon- technical difficulties card and everything. Lights come on. Someone in front says “this happens a lot”. Movie starts back up, but we start hearing rain
