In my view, any crowded, poorly ventilated space (like gangplanks & planes bf take off) should be considered increase risk of transmission with CO2 levels a good proxy for this risk. After take off is less clear (safer because the airflow/filters have kicked in although not necessarily risk-free).

Note also that in the last 2 years almost all Oz kids have been infected, many multiple times. This will not be consequence free to their health (with concerns over chronic impacts), to their parents/grandparents (+30,000 of who have died prematurely) & to schools attendance. 3/

In those first 2 years (2020-21), in stark contrast to those in comparable high-income countries, people in Oz who did endure extensive stay-at-home measures mostly did not suffer from the disease themselves or its devastating impacts on those they love. 2/
