The Windows machine saw the drive, and all the files, just fine. But my own machine still doesn't see it. What do? /fin
I admit, at first I thought it was the drive, but after a bit of research, this appears to be a thing, especially with Western Digital HDDs. The fix, I was told, was to plug the drive into a Windows machine, and if that machine could see it, it was fixed. That didn't work. 2/

To the extent people are insufficiently alarmed about Trump/MAGA I think that's it. Where are their stormtroopers and Grand Moffs? Wearing police uniforms and ugly suits all across the USA. They're just regular people who will gradually decide they can get away with anything.
why did the 2023 incident receive almost no coverage and the the incident this weekend receives wall-to-wall breaking news, push notification/headline coverage? what's different? who makes that decision and what are their motivations? who does that decision help?
