I didn’t have high hopes for the Braves this week. Glad they made it in, but this was a broken, broken team at this point of the season. Frustrating and disappointing. Now to find a new rooting interest.

If you look up at your TV and see Manny Machado sitting on his ass and about to make a throw, you’re about to see something amazing.

Just end this quickly, Padres. This is brutal.

Jon Singleton at the plate in 2024 with the bases loaded and the season on the line. What a world (complimentary)

As expected, tonight is an amalgamation of every Braves playoff loss ever. Bats flailing away helplessly against Sterling Hitchcock and Livan Hernández and Jonathan Sánchez and Tony Gonsolin and so many other bums. Hate this feeling I know so well.

This is one that I genuinely think will be printed in history books one day to show how insane American media culture became. CBS News presenting ethnic cleansing as a housing policy to be compared with home construction tax incentives.

Like this is a hard problem to solve! The state has long depended on media to literally broadcast important information for the benefit of the public and a lot of the public is like "but the tiktoks give me the same info better" and no they don't.
