A white nationalist encounters "his people," and learns that he hates everything about "white America," including (surprise surprise) that none of the conservative women want to fuck him. He concludes "real America" sucks and is freeloading. I am sure this guy came off tremendously normal.

Bracketing the white nationalist part (lol)- Suburbanites fundamentally misunderstand themselves: they see themselves as revolting against urbanism, when they're really a mutant type of urban denizen, much more like city people than rural people. The cultural coding is just completely wrong.

As I pointed out over on Twitter, my man was surprised to find that the place full of all the Scandinavian and German Volk is *also* the part of the country which retains the “stolid, polite rules-liker” cultural traits of those actual nations to a relatively greater degree
