...to the emotional detriment of the others around them, it was wonderful work. The writing was really solid, the performances seized upon the comedy of it but dug into the weirdo pathos/sincerity beautifully (shoutout to Ashley Padilla, she was great), and it ended so well. Nicely done! (CONT.)

I'm an easy mark for Sarah Sherman, she's one of those cast members whose comic charisma draws me in damn near every time - and her WU spot tonight was, thankfully, not a "Jost roast," with those burns being goofy-zippy sidebar moments ("Don't cut to him!") amid substantial + gross imagery. (CONT.)
