DAK - a treasure!
DAK! Now there's some nostalgia unlocked. I remember faithfully leafing through the catalogs when they came in.
Also, love how the intro on your blog post is reminiscent of the DAK style. 👍🏻
I had a set of bookshelf speakers from DAK that I loved. Also, my first ever MS-DOS PC was from them (a 386SX). Thanks for doing this, can’t wait to dive into a memory hole here.
One of my former employers, HeadStart computers AKA Vendex, supplied a lot of stuff to DAK. Drew A. Kaplan visited our trade show booth now and then. We laid in supplies of peach flavored Diet Rite soda for him. (And FWIW, he wore elevator shoes.)
😊thank you! So many memories I didn’t remember until I saw the logo! Wonderful treasure of a post.
