the "man or bear in the woods" thing is currently spawning my my least favorite type of discourse, which is 1) women half jokingly discuss something vaguely related to men 2) men get mad about it 3) women think it's funny that they're mad and double down 4) men start writing think pieces about it

Which is precisely why I choose the bear, I’d rather die than read another op ed from one of these fucks
Men should know that every bear I’ve ever encountered (and there have been lots) has simply walked away from me without saying a word.

If I had a choice between being in the woods with this discourse or a bear, I would also choose the bear.

The silver lining here to me is that so many men tell on themselves.
