i think the people working in amazon warehouses should be able to steal a little bit of stuff whenever they want
Anything they can fit in their pants
A friend of mine got into an accident with a UPS truck recently, at fault of the driver. I almost told her that legally, that meant she could have taken a package or two as a treat.
*and* they should be able to return those things for a full refund if they are dissatisfied with their “purchase”.
No one will know lol 🙈
When I worked in an office I used to always use my ‘worker’s benefit’ when it came to the stationary cupboard.
Warehouse workers are getting free Prime benefits starting in the new year as part of the new compensation package. This does not apply to Amazon's delivery drivers, I've been informed by my management team.
I worked in one for a day once. When an expensive product isn't sellable, they have security escort an employee to a trash compactor with it, to make sure it doesn't get donated or go to an employee.
Columbia House/BMG used to have an employee store where we could buy any cassettes ($1), CDs ($3), and VHS movies for ($5). I always felt like this was a way to discourage theft. Because they certainly weren't making bank on it. Realizing this may be a reference too old for a lot of Blue sky folk.
An employee told me just to shoplift what I wanted because they couldn't sell it. He told me I could basically take whatever I wanted and he wouldn't care.
I did that as a Pharmacist....it was crazy the stir it caused in the Pharmacy.
